In this proposal for the Zuid-as of Amsterdam the property of the association appears to be an important tool. This property can be pre-eminently shown within the computer-environment because the associated links can be made physical. As observer one can experience the programmed links, which are planned by the composer, without having the composer really present to demonstrate the meant connections. A formula-field with points/knots has been crystallized here; these knots can grow into physical events in the near future in close relation with the physical reality of the city-area, using the environment or the construction of the network. |
