inside is huge. It was not allowed to take pictures inside. This house for prayer and meditation is put up by the Baha'i and is open
to everybody to pray, no matter their religion, race, nationality, color, language or beliefs. The surrondings of the temple are

 (de)Signs in the street

Plates and signs are piled upon each other. Recently a stack of boards came down on the street, I hope
nobody got hurt. All the food equipment was as flat as in a cartoon and a lot of men standing around it,
watching the scene. And what a nice shop did appear behind all these titles, delicate and light, with some
 nicely carved wooden panes.

Hindi !?

Most of the signs in the street are painted by hand. English or Hindi (Bengali etc.) makes no difference.
Some signs, like road directions or names are industrially produced. There are some habits visible, like
the signs for fax/coping and international calling are mainly painted yellow background with black painted  letters. Painting is done right on the street, the order could come from anyone, from docters, shopowners
 to buildingdepartments.

Rules for hanging signs don't exist, every one can put up a sign whenever they want. When somebody
else doesn't like it, it could be taken away, but actually most people don't seem to bother.
